If you love dog tricks, then you certainly have to meet Purin. He is a beagle from Tokyo, Japan, that has three world records tucked under his belt. Aside from that, Purin also does a wide variety of amazing and impressive dog tricks. The now 14-year-old Beagle continues to mesmerize people with what he could do, thanks to entertaining videos of him doing his incredible stuff.
Guinness World Record holder
Purin’s first world record was set in 2015; he was then already ten years old, a senior in many people’s standards. But he was still able to make a record for most balls caught by a dog using his paws in one minute. Using a soccer goal as a background, Purin caught 14 mini soccer balls that were thrown by his owner and trainer Makoto Kumagai.
Barely a year after, Purin once again broke headlines. He created the record for the fastest ten meters traveled on a ball by a dog. Purin stood on a big yellow ball and made it move ten meters forward in only 11.90 seconds.
Purin’s third impressive achievement is for doing the most skips by a dog and a person in one minute using a single rope. Purin and Makoto broke the record in 2016. The pair made 51 successful jumps. But if you think that’s impressive, only a few months later, they broke the record again with 58 skips.
Daddy’s pride and joy
Makoto said that Purin is very smart and obedient. The dog loves their training and quickly picks up on what he teaches him. He also said that he is so proud that his dog is getting the recognition that he deserves. Both Makoto and Purin are happy that the dog is making other people happy. But more importantly, both of them love the times that they share while training and practicing for his tricks.
